Why I Have No Endorsement Deal – Lil Kesh Reveals

YAGI boss, Ololade Keshinro, popularly known as Lil Kesh has opened up on the huge effect losing the Headies Awards had on him and why he has no endorsement deal.
According to him, the loss awakened that inborn hustle in him, which made him worked tirelessly hard.
“That was what gingered me to drop my album around March, because` when that happened, I was gingered to do better. It just woke the Lil Kesh up that ‘boy u been sleeping, you came into the industry with anger, and it woke the positivity in me’. I went into the studio, I started recording more songs, I dropped my album which is doing very well, I give God the glory”. “Big up to everybody who supported me still, it really affected me, I can’t deny, but now am chilling. The way life works, I am just 22 and the things I have gone through has proved to me that I really get the things that are meant for me, if its not for me I would not get it. So if I don’t get it, am sure its not for the right reasons, because its not for me. The things that I never thought that I would have in my life at one point in my life or the other came to me”.
“I don’t think that has got to do with me not having deals, look outside the Nigerian market, there a lot of people that say the curse words, even in the American market, don’t they get endorsement? The actual truth is you have no idea of the number of brands that have come to me for endorsement, but am just a guy that hustle for everything and will not settle for less, I won’t sign a crappy deal, I want to have an endorsement that people will celebrate, not just any how deal. A lot of people would come to you with crappy contract; I turned down a couple because I felt like it wasn’t good enough for me, when the right ones come it comes, its business”.

Singer, Lola Rae Gives Epic Response To Pastor Adeboye’s Sermon

Nigerian-Born British-Ghanian singer, Lola Rae wades into Pastor Adeboye’s sermon weeks after the message on single ladies and single guys hit the air. This sermon that stirred the social media recently when Pastor Adeboye admonished men not to marry women that could not cook still keeps raising controversies.
According to Lola Rae, pastor Adeboye is entitled to his own opinion, citing that everybody has every right to feel otherwise.
“Yes, I was brought up in a home where my mum cooked for my dad every single day, but she was a housewife. My thought is if you have the time, it is okay to cook for your husband, but in a situation where you are a career woman and don’t have the time to cook, there are ways you can go about it”. She said
Enoch Adeboye“You can hire someone to do the cooking for you or cook in bulk on weekends and store in the freezer. Definitely, if I have the time, I will cook because I love to do so. If God allows me and gives me the time do that, I will cook every da”’.
“I’m a born again Christian but I think it is his (Pastor Adeboye) opinion and he is entitled to it and if that’s what he feels like the Lord is telling him, then that’s his own message but if there are other people who feel they don’t want their wives to do that and want their wives to support them and that’s what they feel it is their story, then that should happen. I feel that’s his opinion,”.

Veteran Actor, Pete Edochie Reacts Angrily To Social Media Impersonators

Veteran actor, Pete Edochie, is angry at social media impersonators who reportedly used his name to activate social media accounts and ascribe invented comments to him. He stated the number of instances where misinformed and malicious statements were attributed to him, including rumours that his son died on a movie set.
“Right now, I’m watching football in my house, but as I speak to you, some people are posting on Facebook or Twitter, using my name and picture.” He said
“It’s either they are talking about politics, state of the nation, ascribing series of proverbs to me or using my name to counsel people about marriage.”
“Someone asked me how I had time to put plenty proverbs on Facebook. I told the person I wasn’t responsible for them and that I didn’t even have a Facebook account, and she couldn’t believe it.”
“Some people said I sat with Mourinho in one of the profile pictures and that I was telling him the gods were angry with him. Then, they posted another one that Buhari came to consult with me in my shrine.”
“From time to time, you would hear or read that Pete Edochie died in London or on location. In our culture, if people wish you dead, you’d attend the person’s funeral.”
“I’m satisfied with what life has given me. I don’t envy anybody and I don’t want to be anybody. I just want to be left alone as Pete Edochie.”
Other stories attributed to Edochie included having misunderstanding with Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who he claimed has no ties with him.
According to the actor, he has never been involved in politics, so comments linking him to Ekweremadu came as a shocking surprise.
“Somebody woke me up a few days ago and pointed my attention to what was written in my name about (Senator Ike) Ekweremadu.”
Yul-Edochie“I was surprised. I don’t know him neither do I have any issue with him. Again, few days ago, it was also posted that Federal Government needed me for something. All the nonsense people write about me, I’m not happy about it.”
“I’m not a politician, and I am not the only actor in this country. Throughout the campaign during the last general election, I didn’t campaign for anybody, yet on the social media you see people using my name to express support for one candidate or the other.”
The “Narrow Escape” actor is also not impressed about the fact that those who use his name to perpetrate the act of impersonation have poor grammar skills.
“I speak very good English, and those posting those things in my name write in the way I can never write. That is the saving grace.”
“Just recently, someone informed me that he saw somewhere in my name that I wrote on one of these platforms that people should come and pay N50,000, as according to them, I was organising a programme. What programme?”
The actor has quite a list of experiences related to such cases and has revealed his dissatisfaction concerning them.
