Why Foreign Artistes Are Scared To Work With Me – Don Jazzy Reveals

Mavin boss, Micheal Ajereh Collins known as Don Jazzy has revealed reasons why foreign artistes are scared to work with him. According to him, a lot of them after working with him chickens out, citing that they are not ready for the music change. “Most of these American artistes would call you, they believe you have something that they like, so they call you to come and try something out”, Don Jazzy said. The producer continued by saying that “A bunch of people that I have tried to work with or have tried to work with me chicken out at the end of the day because they aren’t really ready for the music change; they want me to tweak it till it gets back to their sound”.
“I can give you your sound, but then, you called me for something and then I try to give to my sound and I want you to do your thing on top of it which would give the sound a wider recognition but they say they aren’t ready for this switch drastically. I think they are still scared.”Thanks for reading.

Arsenal have begun talks with Atletico Madrid over £40m rated Uruguayan centre-back Jose Gimenez. According to reliable sources, Arsene Wenger have contacted Atletico Madrid over the availability of Jose Gimenez, with negotiations said to be going on as the 21-year old appears interested in the move to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are desperate to bring in a central defender before the end of the transfer window after been hit by injury crisis very early on in the Premier League season. Although, the price might put off the north London who are known to be “price-pinchy”. Initially, the Gunners were chasing Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi but are very reluctant to meet the £30m asking price with the German already training separately due to the negotiations that had already reached the final stages but the dispute in the final fee still a problem to contend for the Gunners. In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the government is aware that some opportunists have been going from one government organization to another with notes purportedly recommending them for contracts and other patronage, using the names of the President, his family members and senior government officials to intimidate those organisations. The Minister said the President didn’t authorize any government official to write notes recommending anyone for contracts or any form of patronage, and warned those involved in such fraudulent activities to stop immediately or face possible arrest and prosecution by security agents.
He also warned government officials who may be working in collusion with these con men to desist from the act or face dire disciplinary action and prosecution for fraud.

Mikel Obi Better Than Paul Pogba- United Legend

Manchester United legend Paul Parker has criticised Paul Pogba’s style of play and even said Mikel Obi is better than the Frenchman. The £100 million world record transfer of Paul Pogba to Old Trafford has attracted comments from different quarters while some hailed the transfer other criticised, the latest happens to come from United favourite, Paul Parker who has said the Frenchman is not as good as Nigeria’s Mikel Obi in the holding position tagging him a waste in that position. Parker said: ‘In a holding position it would be a waste because he’s not a Makelele or even a John Obi Mikel because one thing Mikel can do is close people down.
‘Pogba can get forward, and score goals, and pass the ball but in a high-tempo game he won’t be very good in a deep role. We saw that in the Euros where he looked lost for long periods of games when France didn’t have the ball. ‘So when United don’t have the ball what’s he going to be like? Fellaini can’t do that either. Or Rooney. They can’t get around. Behind Ibrahimovic and Martial there will be changes because there is no way that midfield can last.’ The United legend also criticised the physique of the club captain, Wayne Rooney’s weight, tagging him “overweight and slow”.

Tinubu, A Big Problem For Us – APC Aspirant Insists

governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, has accused the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, of causing problem within the Ondo State chapter of the party. Abayomi alleged that the preference of Tinubu for another governorship aspirant, Dr. Segun Abraham, had polarized the party ahead of its primary coming up next week. Abayomi maintained that it was wrong for the former governor of Lagos State to impose his choice on the party. Tinubu was alleged to have invited all the party leaders in the state to Lagos, where he allegedly directed them to ensure his anointed candidate, Abraham, won the primary. Abayomi said since Tinubu allegedly imposed a candidate, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, on the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria in the 2012 governorship election in the state and failed, he should not repeat the same style in the 2016 governorship primary of the APC. This was contained in a letter he addressed to Tinubu on Tuesday, a copy of which was made available to our correspondent.
The letter was titled, “Tonic of democracy is the right of the people to choose their leaders. No: 2. The letter read, “I maintain, based on the reliable information of the attendees, that your meeting with the party leaders go beyond mere a ‘meeting’ or ‘assembly and talk’ as observed in your letter. You told them who the candidate of the party would be and directed them to work for him assuring them of your financial support. “I maintain that considering that all the aspirants had all been subjected to the same processes, including serious conditional payments, it would have been expected that as a national leader of the APC and especially as you have severally assured many aspirants who came to you, that the party would guarantee to all, equal protection in the process, you should have refrained from directing the party to support an aspirant. “Your summoning of party officials to a meeting and your instruction to them to support one aspirant, in my humble view, violated the right to fairness. It amounted to undue influence to unjustly favour an aspirant. “Perhaps, I need to add that the confusion in the APC in Ondo State at the moment, like it was in the ACN in 2012, emanated from the unfair directive you gave to the party on July 31, 2016.” The APC aspirant urged the national leader not to influence the emergence of the candidate of the party, adding that he should allow the party to conduct a credible primary

30-Year-Old Igbo Man Arrested For Naming Dog ‘Buhari

The Ogun State Police command has arrested one Joe Fortemose Chinakwe for allegedly naming his pet Dog ‘Buhari’, apparently referring to President Muhammadu Buhari. The 30-year-old Trader was reportedly nabbed at No 10, Omikunle Street, Sango-ota, Ogun State. Reports have it that the arrest was made after one of his (Joe’s) northern neighbours complained bitterly that he named his dog after his father, Alhaji Buhari. According to a popular dai
ly, the complainant reported the case at Sango Police Station, last Saturday, after which the trader was arrested and detained. It was however gathered that efforts by the police to recover the dog, which they intended using as evidence failed following a clever move by the suspect. The trader, said to be trading in female wears at a popular market in Sango, allegedly directed his friends secretly to kill the dog and possibly eat the meat in order to avoid being implicated. It was gathered that consistent appeals by his friends and relations for the police to grant him bail failed as the complainant and his kinsmen reportedly threatened to kill the trader if he was released on bail.
