So it all went down at ETF (Education Trust Fund) hall on Saturday
morning, some guy at ETF was in the reading room and suddenly he
realised that his laptop was missing! He raised alarm. Then, a few
minutes after, one of the cleaners couldn’t find her phone! Concerned
and vigilant students immediately surrounded the perimeters and ta-dah!
The thief was caught! Trust OAU students, they immediately bundled him.

The thief identified himself as Tope Ogunnusi. Following his
confession to the student union security, it was discovered that he was
not working alone and that it was a tag team with one Ogbe Okojie who
was consequently nabbed.
Do you know the annoying part? Neither of them is an OAU student! In
fact, they came all the way from Benin city to OAU to steal. I hear that
Okojie started the job first, after he had succeeded in stealing some
items, he then gave a call to the other guy. So they started the mission
last week Monday with Tope working at ETF hall and Okogie working at
Fajuyi hall. You know, division of labour and all.
Okojie was correct about the market because they confessed to have
stolen 14 laptops , 25 Nokia phones, 16 Infinix phones, 11 Blackberry
phones, 10 Samsung phones and many more items in one week! *Hands on
head* *mouth open*. Some of the stolen items have been retrieved and
returned to their owners but, the thieves said they had already sold the
others to some retailers in Akure, Ondo state.

Anyhow sha, OAU is the worst campus for thieves as Tope and Okogie
soon discovered. They were beaten like animals. As in, the thing about
beating thieves in OAU is that everybody contributes. Some people who lost
their items weeks or months ago will just transfer aggression on your thievery-infected head.
It was bad, they were stripped off their clothes and paraded on the streets. If you were there, you would have pitied them.
Anywayzs, thou can steal, but, for your own good, not in OAU! Thanks for reading
