The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB,
has re-opened the 2016 UTME registration portal for 48hrs.
According to the spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB will reopen its website between 12 midnight on Tuesday and 12 midnight on Thursday to allow applicants complete their registration process for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Board stated that the 48 hours will only be for applicants who were unable to complete the registration process as of Friday, 5th February when the registration closed to upload and complete the process and not those who want to begin a fresh registration process.
The spokesperson said: “The directive does not cover fresh registration but only those who had either done offline registration or visited our website but could not submit."
He further stated, “The Board wishes to state that all arrangements for 2016 UTME has been completed and examination will commence as earlier stated,” the statement added. The Board, however, urged all candidates to print their examination slips for the schedules of their date, venue, the time allotted to them and other necessary information.
